Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was comfortable to stay at, with the exception of the slightly cold room due to no additional blankets. The location was great for the purpose of my trip, though a little far out of town. Dining was really nice, and the chef did a brilliant job, but the breakfast was a downside. The staff were very good and helpful. Overall, a good value for money stay.
The hotel's rooms were a bit tired and dated, with cleanliness issues like dirty cracked walls, a ripped curtain, and an uncleaned carpet. The lack of regular cleaning, such as not changing coffee cups for four days, was disappointing. On the positive side, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the location was central for our activities in Northallerton. The dining experience was a mix; while the food was delicious with plenty of choices, the service was slow at times. Overall, an average stay with room for improvement.
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with a spacious shower and thick carpets, albeit needing a fresh coat of paint. It's a bit secluded but well appointed. The service was excellent but could improve room service. The location is the best feature, being a short stroll from town and close to many restaurants. The dining experience was satisfactory, with tasty food but some service inconsistencies. The facilities are sufficient, with room for enhancement.
